Choose where you earn and pay tax
Use a calculator built for that country’s tax year, tax authority and payroll system. The same design does not mean the same assumptions underneath.
Start with the country, then check the scope.
Each calculator links the primary rules behind its result, names what it excludes and keeps all entered amounts in your browser.

Calculate contributions →Why there is no country switch on one generic formula
Tax years, social contributions, credits, pension treatment and payroll timing are not interchangeable. The UK uses an April tax year and pay-period National Insurance; Australia reconciles an income-year assessment with Medicare and HELP; Ireland uses calendar-year PAYE alongside USC, weekly PRSI tests and a new auto-enrolment system.
Separate engines make those boundaries visible and easier to test. Currency formatting is the smallest difference, not the biggest one.
How to use a result
- Choose the calculator for the jurisdiction where the employment income is taxed.
- Read the supported-scenario note before adding optional deductions.
- Use the annual result for planning and the per-pay result as an equivalent, not a guaranteed payslip.
- Compare the breakdown with an official calculator, assessment or payroll record when exact accuracy matters.
